An account is what moves your progress off the device: your streak, your stats and your EV history.

The three ways in

Email. The screen says “All we need is your email!” and explains: “We’ll email you a 6-digit code to verify it’s really you. No spam, ever.” Enter the address, tap Get the code, then enter the code and tap Submit the code. If nothing arrives, Resend code is on the same screen.

Google and Apple. One tap each, from the same screen.

Signing up versus signing in

They are the same screens with different outcomes, and the app tells you when you have picked the wrong one:

  • “Account already exists” when you try to sign up with an address that already has an account. Sign in instead.
  • “Account Not Found” when you sign in with Google or Apple and no account matches. The message says: “Please use the email sign up option to create an account first.”
  • “Looks like you’re new!” when the email you signed in with has no account, offering Get started or Try Different Email.

Progress made before signing up

You can train without an account. After your first session the app offers to save your progress, noting it “takes less than 10 seconds” and is “Free, no credit card”, and the screen also states what dismissing it means: “You can create an account anytime from Settings.”

Until you create one, everything lives on that device only. Reinstalling the app or switching phones without an account loses it.

Where to sign in later

Settings → Create your account if you have never signed up, or the sign-in link on the welcome screen. Once you are signed in, Settings shows “Signed in as:” with your address.
